February 20, 2008 The coin drive is off to a great start. Mrs. Swalling's class is in the lead!! Keep bringing in those coins through this Friday the 22nd. All proceeds will help obtain water containers for clean drinking water in Papua New Guinea. Drama Club and Chess Club meet on Thursday after school. Dr. Behrends will be on campus Thursday at 7 pm in the Chapel for a meeting with parents of secondary students. Dad's prayer is Thursday evening @ 6 pm. February 13, 2008 The last day to bring canned food items is tomorrow, 2/14. We will have a secondary parent meeting next Thursday, 2/21 at 7pm with Dr. Behrends on campus. The location will be announced. The purpose of this meeting is to discuss the future (for secondary students). The discount vouchers for re-enrollment are only valid through Friday, 2/15 at 3:30 pm. Re-enrollment packets are available in the office. Chess Club and Drama Club meet this Thursday after school. Thursday is red, white, pink and heart day! Pre-order your school cookbook for only $10 through 2/22. After 2/22 the cost is $12. Bring payment and order form to your student's classroom. February 5, 2008 Mom's prayer is tomorrow in the Library at 8:30 am. Remember your canned food items! Let's help those in our community who are in need! Box Tops can be turned in to your homeroom teacher. Candy grams are on sale this week before and after school. Join us for an auction meeting this Thursday, February 7th at Shannan Leising's house at 7 pm. There will not be a PSO meeting on Thursday. Tell your friends, family and neighbors about Thursday night's Open House for new families! We'll begin at 7 pm in the Chapel. Chess and Drama Clubs meet Thursday after school. Join us for blessing awards during this Friday's Chapels. Another work party at the Mill Creek campus is scheduled for this Saturday the 9th from 9 am - noon. We will continue where we left off last weekend clearing brush and blackberries to make room for a fence. Wear outdoor clothing, boots and leather gloves.
