August 31, 2007 Thank you to all who attended the BBQ last night! Parent support is so vital!! We have some winners to announce: Jump Rope Winner - Jessica Orecchio with 100 jumps! Elementary coloring contest winner - Catherine Sumida. Secondary coloring contest winner - Shannon Campbell. Good job! Thank you also to all of the parents who attended this mornings Convocation! We're off to a great year as we press into Jesus Christ! August 30, 2007- Join us for loads of food and fun at tonight's Back To School BBQ. It's free for the whole family. Even if you didn't RSVP, come on out!! Also join us tomorrow at 8:45 am in the Chapel for our all-school Convocation. August 29, 2007- Correction - Mom's Prayer will start on Wednesday, September 5th at 8:30. It will meet the first and third Wednesday of the month. Our annual Convocation will be this Friday. We will have all grade levels come together Friday morning for a time of dedication, prayer and praise. Parents are welcome and encouraged to attend. We will have Convocation in the Chapel at 8:45 am. Please note that the Secondary Back To School Night will not be held on September 20th, as many staff will be attending the HS Retreat. We're in the process of rescheduling this event and will announce the date as soon as it's solidified. August 27, 2007- All secondary families should have received a memo in the mail regarding cell phone usage. Please note that the time parameters for the Everett Campus are 8:30 am to 3:00 pm. Thank you for your understanding! Mom's Prayer and Praise starts Wednesday, 9/12/07 at 8:30 am in the Library. Join other moms as we pray for our students, families and school. Lunch menus are due August 30th. August 2007- MS and HS Registration is on Aug. 21st and 22nd. We will review schedules, assign lockers and collect fees for lockers, ASB cards, planners, science fees and any applicable class fees such as art, home ec or PE uniforms. Parking permit applications will be available for our student drivers. Also, CPCSE logo school supplies and all new pennants will be on sale. Save the date: Tuesday, August 28th from 12:00-3:00 pm - "Meet Your Teacher" You're welcome to bring in your supplies and store them in your desk. If you've received a notice about needing immunizations, please contact the office with the updated vaccine dates. ALL IMMUNIZATIONS MUST BE UP-TO-DATE IN ORDER TO ATTEND CLASS ON AUGUST 30TH. We're looking for a new Mom's In Touch coordinator. MIT meets once per week to pray for our students, faculty, families and school. MIT has been meeting on Monday's at 9:30 am, but a different day of the week and time can always be chosen. If you're interested in coordinating this vital part of our ministry please contact Maggie Lackey at maggie.l@cedarpark.org. PSO - Our first PSO meeting will be held on campus in the lunchroom at 7 pm on SEPTEMBER 6th.
