Cedar Park Christian School Everett Campus Announcements May 19, 2008 Our high school track team is going to State this week! Please pray for them as they compete Friday and Saturday.
Elementary Spring Concert is Tuesday night at 7 pm in the gym.
Mom’s Prayer group meets Wednesday at 8:30 in the Library.
The middle school track meet is all day Thursday.
Dad’s Prayer group meets Thursday in Mr. Frunz’s office.
Sign up in the office to audition for the elementary talent show. Auditions are this Friday during 3rd recess and from 2:20-2:50 in the west portable (music room).
Please submit Fund Run donations and prize selection forms to your teacher or to the office by May 22nd.

MS track meet is Saturday. HS bi-district championships are also on Saturday. Pray for our athletes in the heat! High school athletes are competing for a place at the State Championships. Congratulations to our Girls Track Team who have the highest grade point average in 1B Girls Track and Field.

National Day of Prayer is Thursday, May 1st. Join us at 7:45 in the Chapel for a time of prayer and worship. Secondary Talent Show is this Thursday in the Chapel at 2 pm. HS Track meet - Friday, May 2nd. Team departs at 12:30 pm. April 21, 2008 High School Planning Night: Our district guidance counselor, Mrs. Amy Bettinger, will hold a meeting at the Everett Campus on Tuesday, April 22 at 7 pm in the Chapel. She will cover topics related to high school requirements and classes, graduation requirements, college planning, financial aid and more. This meeting will highly benefit our current 8th—11th grade students. Spiritual Emphasis for secondary students is this week. Parents, take a minute to discuss the daily Chapel services with your student; you may discover some insights into their world… First grade is going to the beach on Wednesday for the Edmonds Discovery Program field trip. High school track meet is Thursday. Chess Club meets Thursday after school. April 9, 2008 “Planning for a Successful High School Experience at Cedar Park Christian School's Everett Campus. ” Topics to be covered include: Graduation Requirements, Course Scheduling, Diploma Options, College Planning, Requirements for Running Start Participation and other helpful hints. This evening is designed to assist parents with understanding how the High School and College entrance landscape has changed since they were in school and to provide parents with an understanding of what will be offered here at the Everett Campus for their students next year. Tuesday, April 22 at 7 pm in the Chapel. April 7, 2008 Stanford Achievement Tests are being conducted this week in Kindergarten through 11th grade. Please ensure that your student arrives on time as testing begins promptly. April Art Clubs will meet on the 14th and 28th after school in the portable. Sign up and pay in the office. Details about the projects will be available soon. Cookbooks are still on sale. Stop by the office to see the sample. Leading Edge Gymnastics field trip is this Wednesday, April 9th for Mr. Cornelissen's, Mrs. Guddal's and Mrs. Fine's classes. Be sure that your waiver and permission slip are turned in. End of third quarter is April 10th. 11:30 dismissal this Friday, April 11th. Math Olympics is this Friday, April 11th. Refer to the packet that participants brought home for details. 5th grade Outdoor Education Camp is next week, April 16-18th. A great big "thank you" to everyone involved in this year's auction. It was a great event and could not have been done without countless hours of help from all of you. March 17, 2008 9-11th graders, please turn in your permission slip and money for the Seattle Pacific University Spring Tour field trip this Thursday, 3/20. We need to board the busses on time that morning, so please make every effort to be to first period by 8:30 am. Gymnastics field trips are this week. Be sure to submit permission slips/waivers and to dress appropriately the day of your field trip. Mom's prayer meets Wednesday, March 19 at 8:30 am in the Library. All school Easter Chapel is this Thursday at 8:45 am. Chess Club meets Thursday after school in the portable. Dad's Prayer meets Thursday, March 20th at 6 pm. Grandparent's Day is this Friday at 8:45 am. 11:30 dismissal this Friday. Easter Break is March 24-29. Be sure to submit lunch menus and payment by Thursday, March 20 to ensure your student will have lunches in April. February 20, 2008 The coin drive is off to a great start. Mrs. Swalling's class is in the lead!! Keep bringing in those coins through this Friday the 22nd. All proceeds will help obtain water containers for clean drinking water in Papua New Guinea. Drama Club and Chess Club meet on Thursday after school. Dr. Behrends will be on campus Thursday at 7 pm in the Chapel for a meeting with parents of secondary students. Dad's prayer is Thursday evening @ 6 pm. February 13, 2008 The last day to bring canned food items is tomorrow, 2/14. We will have a secondary parent meeting next Thursday, 2/21 at 7pm with Dr. Behrends on campus. The location will be announced. The purpose of this meeting is to discuss the future (for secondary students). The discount vouchers for re-enrollment are only valid through Friday, 2/15 at 3:30 pm. Re-enrollment packets are available in the office. Chess Club and Drama Club meet this Thursday after school. Thursday is red, white, pink and heart day! Pre-order your school cookbook for only $10 through 2/22. After 2/22 the cost is $12. Bring payment and order form to your student's classroom. February 5, 2008 Mom's prayer is tomorrow in the Library at 8:30 am. Remember your canned food items! Let's help those in our community who are in need! Box Tops can be turned in to your homeroom teacher. Candy grams are on sale this week before and after school. Join us for an auction meeting this Thursday, February 7th at Shannan Leising's house at 7 pm. There will not be a PSO meeting on Thursday. Tell your friends, family and neighbors about Thursday night's Open House for new families! We'll begin at 7 pm in the Chapel. Chess and Drama Clubs meet Thursday after school. Join us for blessing awards during this Friday's Chapels. Another work party at the Mill Creek campus is scheduled for this Saturday the 9th from 9 am - noon. We will continue where we left off last weekend clearing brush and blackberries to make room for a fence. Wear outdoor clothing, boots and leather gloves.
